The Spider AT is not a Salsa Mukluk or one of the bikes in Surly's "OmniTerra" line of fat tire bikes. What the Spider AT is is a bike that costs about 1/3 as much as those higher end bikes. This bike is for tooling around on almost any terrain, sand, mud, snow etc. slowly... The Spider AT will do what it was built to do... CRUISE! This is not a fat tire mountain bike, it's a fat tire cruiser and considering the price that's perfectly fine... and fun.
